About The Role

Due to continued growth in the scope and volume of our communications work, we are expanding our team and are looking for a Communications Delivery Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis.

In this newly created position, the Communications Delivery Manager will manage the flow, scheduling and alignment of complex communications campaigns and projects to ensure messages are delivered to KPI’s and to brief. The successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to influence and change behaviour, whilst providing structure to the organisation and delivery of multiple and diverse communications projects.

The position of Communications Delivery Manager offers an unrivalled opportunity to ‘have a voice’ in a highly relevant and influential organisation, operating at the cutting-edge of research and analysis into future car safety technology, security and repair.

As the Communications Delivery Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Budgeting, scheduling and project managing multiple communications projects to drive efficiencies and develop new ways of working within the organisation
  • Identifying risk factors for projects, creating comprehensive risk-management plans as required
  • Active management of project design and delivery phases, ensuring that project solutions are implemented as designed, keeping project disruptions to a minimum to enable delivery on time and to budget
  • Oversight and preparation of detailed project documentation, including functional specifications, plans and cost estimates
  • Ability to act in a consultative capacity, running meetings and workshops as required
  • Post project launch support, managing issues and ongoing reporting - organising and reporting on project debriefs as required.

As the Communications Delivery Manager your skills and experience will include:

  • Degree qualified within a communications or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Managing communications as part of an integrated campaign package, ensuring consistent content and messaging across outbound channels, from email to web and both digital and traditional content
  • Ability to utilise content to drive and measure outcomes including traffic, customer engagement and conversions, ranging from new customers to additional revenue or usage
  • Ability to identify risk factors for projects and create comprehensive risk-management plans as required
  • Demonstrable experience working in project-focused, communications delivery positions
  • Strong communications background, gained from within an agency or client team/account management environment
  • Proven track record and experience of leading and facilitating effective delivery of communications projects from start to finish

You are a confident and clear communicator, with a natural ability to facilitate collaboration across teams. Your excellent leadership skills enable you to successfully provide direction and manage cross functional projects; whilst your effective organisational skills ensure that projects are completed on time and within agreed scope.

You are comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, under pressure and across multiple project deliverables.

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire

Salary: Circa £40,000 dependent on skills/experience + competitive benefits including a 10% non-contributory pension scheme

Working Hours: 8.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday and 8.30 - 15.45 Fridays
